G.K. Chesterton Sightings, Week Ending 8/20/2010

Aug 20th, 2010No Comments

The Man Who Was Thursday is back in the news, with a photo of the actors in the remake that mocks the war on terror. That does look and sound like a nightmare.

Chesterton was quoted in the “Ground Zero Mosque” debate.

A quote from GKC is the headline on this piece on the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

First Things included GKC in a list of the 50 most influential religious figures in America. No, not as a figure of such import, but merely to provide a quote.

RenewAmerica quoted Chesterton in a post about the new heaven and the new earth.

Two Colorado Senatorial candidates are accusing each other of plagiarism, and a quote by Chesterton on education seems to be part of the evidence. Simply amazing.
