G.K. Chesterton Sightings for the Week Ending July 30, 2010

Jul 30th, 2010No Comments

Other than the sudden increase in G.K. Chesterton shirts on this site, there hasn’t been a great deal of activity.

The Telegraph leads off a review of Brahms with a Chesterton quote, and a photo of GKC!

Matt Warner (Fallible Blogma) wrote in the National Catholic Register about Deepak Chopra getting zinged by a member of the audience (with video!) and quotes one of my personal favorite Chesterton Quotes.

Alice Schroeder paraphrased a passage of Chesterton that often gets misquoted, about fences getting taken down – in Bloomberg. That’s the second financial news source in 2 weeks to quote GKC. Think it’ll catch on? Not holding my breath.

An Austrailian ABC news blog accurately misquoted Chesterton. That is, they quoted the misquote and spent more words explainint it was a misquote than the quote itself.

And a Slovakian (?) blog quoted Chesterton to raise the issue of the forgotten fact that the Crusades were a counter-attack.
